We got a new car this weekend, well it’s new to us anyway. I bet you’ll never guess what make it is.
Yes, it’s a Volkswagen. I owned a 1972 VW Beetle once that I had to stick my arm through the hole where the radio should have been to operate the windshield wipers by moving the metal arm that connected the two wipers together back and forth. This car is much newer than my other VW with many more bells and whistles. The car I’ve been driving for over two years now has not had A/C, so I’m looking forward to driving in a cool car again.
This photo was made just before sunrise. It was one of those times, I wish I would’ve had a tripod handy. It’s still a cool shot, if you look closely you can see the unlighted side of the moon and the clouds laying low in the sky.
Happy Mothers Day!

This was my view for part of the day. Let me start by saying that everyone is fine. My wife and oldest daughter were inside the ambulance, so I was following it to the hospital. Lindsey was waiting to perform with NJROTC at Academy Day when she passed out and hit her head hard on the concrete floor. Other than a nasty bump and a throbbing headache, she came out of the ordeal fine.
